What we collect
Information you give us
When you send an enquiry or request a consultation through this website, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number, business name, city, type of business, the service you are interested in, your preferred mode and time for a consultation, and your message. Fields marked optional can be left blank.
If you call, email or message us on WhatsApp, we receive the details you share in that conversation.
Please do not send confidential financial documents, passwords or identity numbers through the website form. We will arrange a secure way to receive documents if we work together.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. These logs are used for security and to keep the website running.
- Spam protection. When you submit a form, we store a scrambled (one-way hashed) version of your IP address and your browser type with your enquiry, and briefly to limit repeated submissions. We cannot recover your IP address from the hashed value.
Information we do not collect
- The calculators and the PDF splitter in our Toolkit run entirely in your browser. The figures you enter and the files you choose are not sent to us or stored by us.
- The AI demonstration and the dashboards on this website use illustrative data only. They do not collect or process your information and do not send anything to an AI service.
How we use your information
We use personal data only for these purposes:
- to reply to your enquiry and arrange a consultation, on the basis of the consent you give when you submit the form;
- to keep a record of enquiries and our correspondence;
- to protect the website against spam, abuse and security threats; and
- to comply with legal and professional obligations.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing. We will only send you newsletters or updates if you separately ask to receive them.
Third-party services
Some parts of this website rely on other providers. They receive limited technical data (such as your IP address) when their service is used:
- Hosting provider — stores the website, its database and server logs.
- Email provider — delivers enquiry notifications to our inbox.
- Google Fonts — the website’s typefaces are loaded from Google’s servers.
- Google Maps — the map on our Contact page loads only when you click “Show the map”. The “View on Google Maps” and “Get directions” links take you to Google’s website.
- YouTube and Vimeo — videos load only when you press play. YouTube videos use its privacy-enhanced mode.
- cdnjs (Cloudflare) — supplies the code library used by the PDF splitter, on that page only. Your PDF is still processed only in your browser.
- WhatsApp — if you click a WhatsApp link, your conversation with us is handled by WhatsApp under its own terms and privacy policy.
These providers may store data on servers outside India. Their use of data is governed by their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond to you and to maintain a record of our correspondence — generally no longer than 24 months after our last contact. If you become a client, records relating to the engagement are kept for the periods required by law and professional standards. Server logs and spam-protection data are kept only for short periods.
How we protect it
We use reasonable security measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) once the website is live on its domain, restricted access to enquiry records, protection against automated form abuse, and storage of records in locations that cannot be accessed from the web. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:
- obtain a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- ask us to correct, complete, update or erase your personal data;
- withdraw your consent at any time — this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it;
- nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become incapable; and
- have your grievances addressed by us.
To exercise these rights, contact CA Krishan Vrind Jain at jainkv@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
This website is intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website or the law changes — for example, before introducing analytics or new interactive features such as an AI assistant. Any such feature will explain what information it processes, why, whether a third-party AI provider is involved, and how long the information is kept. The “last updated” date shows when this policy was last revised.
